Web Films

A short film on your company's website is a great way to tell people about what you do. A web-film allows you to say everything you need about your company – its history, ethos, services/products, key strengths, key staff – in just a few minutes.
A web-film could also be used to sell a particular new product or service, launch or particular marketing campaign, celebrating business success or awards, or show a particular part of a company's business or ethos.
Any company's web-film also has the potential to be shown on a host of other platforms such as national newspaper websites, or sites like YouTube and can therefore serve a marketing function in its own right.

Sponsored & Ad-Funded Films

We're not talking about a cheap infomercial on late night TV, or Cadburys sponsoring Corrie. We're talking about real films made to raise brand awareness or help convey a specific message.
Did you know that Night Mail, one of the most important films of the early British Documentary movement was actually a sponsored film made by the Post Office?
Although network television is traditionally wary of commercially funded programmes they have been made, and even shown on the BBC. A few years ago a horse called Sir Percy won the Derby. It was a lovely rags to riches tale. Vodafone were sponsoring the Derby at the time and decided to fund a production company to make a documentary about the story. Apart from funding they had no editorial control and insisted on no overt references in the film. Naturally as it was called the Vodafone Derby there was a quiet presence. Because of this, because it was a genuine documentary the BBC bought the programme and aired it on BBC1.
Of course the network television isn't the only place you could show a sponsored film. With the emergence of the internet as a space for broadcasting content and the proliferation of digital channels the possibility for placing sponsored or ad-funded programming in front of an audience is constantly increasing.

Internal Communication

Training and education is all too often set in a dull environment and the process has relatively little action. As a result training films can be quite boring. It doesn't have to be like that. Selection of an appropriate location and a little careful coaching can help bring a subject to life – and ensure that your audience gets the message. A pull focus here, a gentle pan, going hand-held and some elegant editing can make all the difference.
